Sky Organics African Black Soap

I went on a skincare review binge on YouTube and over and over I kept hearing about the wonder of African Black Soap. It’s said to be a universally beneficial cleanser for all skins even skin types affected by dryness, eczema, acne, psoriasis, dermatitis and even sensitive skin to name a few. I have found the Sky Organics African Black soap to be an absolutely amazing gentle and organic cleanser.

Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift / Cruelty Free Skincare

Dermalogica has just released a new eye cream named Stress Positive Eye Lift, it promises to brighten, lift and de-puff the delicate skin surrounding the eye area. I don’t have a vast history with eye creams as I could rarely find one that had any effect on the skin around my eyes or enough benefit to inspire regular use. I don’t have any dramatic eye concerns, occasionally when I’ve been cramming to many different eye looks into one day my eyes can get a bit annoyed and small bumps surface on my eyelids and under eye area, I can usually clear that up with some hydration and no excessive blending for a couple of days.

Sky Organics DIY Scalp Treatment for Hair Growth

Some weeks ago, I received a Peppermint & Castor Oil DIY Scalp Treatment kit from Sky Organics in the mail. The kit consists of organic Jojoba oil, organic Castor oil and organic Peppermint oil. I was actually very happy to find this particular kit in the mail; the recipe is one I used a long time ago when my hair was absolute crap and it truly helped my balding and broken off patches repair and replenish by conditioning and stimulating my scalp.

The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2% // Deciem

In the past I have enjoyed the results from using Vitamin A topical creams, they are great for improving skin tone and texture. Thanks to Deciem, because they have made Vitamin A way more affordable and accessible to all.

February Favorites

I think I just need to get over that seeing as I haven't come across any "blogger law" dictating a minimum product requirement for monthly favorites. Last month I finally tried out some mehron cosmetics, mostly due to my seeing some amazing artists online whose work I admire listing mehron in their product list.

Cruelty-Free Exfoliator // Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

I tried my first powdered cleanser/exfoliator thanks to Dermalogica. I was not quite sure what to expect from it; I have not spent much effort looking into this format of exfoliator much before, though I have heard of it in passing before in the hip apothecary indie skincare world. To see this from a huge brand name like Dermalogica is very exciting. I am a big fan of Dermalogica skincare so I was very willing and eager to try out this new release from them.
