Sanitas Skincare Review

My latest skincare obsessions from one of my favorite brands, Sanitas Skincare.

I discovered the Sanitas skincare brand late Summer 2015 on one of my favorite online sites Dermstore.com, since then it has become a part of my core skincare regimen. I love their biogenic approach to skincare they are also free of parabens and preservatives.

Sanitas Oil Free Moisturizer

Sanitas Oil Free Moisturizer is a lightweight, nutrient-rich moisturizer that absorbs quickly to promote moist, supple skin with a non-shine finish. Oil Free Moisturizer is formulated with Vitamin A and Hyaluronic Acid to stimulate collagen production and protect against premature aging.

• Light moisturizer hydrates and conditions acne-prone or oily skin
• Vitamin A, a powerful antioxidant, protects and heals
• Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane help hydrate and soften skin

Key Ingredients

Hyaluronic Acid    Powerful humectant, promotes wound healing, softens skin
Squalane    Biogenic moisturizer
Vitamin A    Stabilizes skin cell growth, improves texture, firms and smoothes

My Take

I have sensitive combination Normal to Dry skin that is prone to irritation. Before I used look for oils in my moisturizers but now I realize I was overloading my skin with too much oil  and not allowing anytime to breath. I never thought an oil-free moisturizer would hydrate my skin but the Sanitas formula is amazing, instantly absorbs and plumps up my skin and makes it so soft and smooth to the touch. I find it works best with a serum underneath, I previously used the Hydraluron from indeed labs and I loved the pair, currently I'm testing out a new one but I still highly recommend that pair together.

It is definitely on the high-end side of of the skincare spectrum as its going to run you $27.00 for only 50ml that, with regular use, will last you about four months before you need to repurchase. I'm currently on my second bottle and do not see myself stopping its use anytime soon.

Sanitas Moisture Mist

Moisture Mist maximizes the delivery of active ingredients deep into the skin. Moisture Mist effectively hydrates and heals the skin in addition to enhancing the penetration and spreadability of a moisturizer.

• Hydrating spray improves spreadability and penetration of moisturizers
• Allantoin, Hyaluronic Acid, Beta Glucan, NaPCA hydrate, soften and slow aging process
• Stimulates skin UV defense

Key Ingredients

Beta Glucan    Stimulates skin immunity, anti-aging, UV protectant
Allantoin
Biogenic, softens and soothes skin
Hyaluronic Acid    Powerful humectant, promotes wound healing, softens skin
NaPCA    Biogenic moisturizer

My Take

This is the newest product from Sanitas I've tried on a whim because I was so impressed with the value, you get 200ml for only $18.00 USD, in comparasion one of my favorite skin mists from another brand costs $16.00 USD for only 100ml literally half the amount for almost the same price.

I really enjoy this mist, it has not irritated my skin at all and does help the spreading and absorption of moisturizer. I recommend this if you're in the market for a hydrating and refreshing facial spray, this will work for all skin types.

Sanitas Glycotoner 15%

Sanitas Glycotoner 15% is our most aggressive, active Glycolic Acid toner designed to exfoliate dead skin cells, lighten hyperpigmented areas and improve skin tone and texture.  Glycotoner 15% can dramatically minimize the appearance of pores and soften fine lines and wrinkles.

• Glycolic Acid exfoliates skin and can help minimize pore size
• Softens fine lines, lightens hyperpigmentation
• Anti-bacterial, non-comedogenic properties & low pH
• Great for spot treating blemishes

Key Ingredients

Glycolic Acid    Stimulates and exfoliates
NaPCA    Biogenic moisturizer

My Take

I love this product, I have 1/4 of my first bottle left but I've already repurchased a back up because I can't run out of this stuff. It has been the only non prescribed treatment I've used that I actually see results in fading my hyper-pigmentation. Chemical exfoliation has long been my preferred method of exfoliation as it evenly exfoliates my skin. I am going to try hard to get consistent with its use and stay consistent to see how far it can take the fading. I've been so desperate to get ride of my  hyper-pigmentation I've been contemplating going back on Retin-A, but I'm going to see what this does before I resort to such desperate measures.

Glycotoner helps me maintain smooth skin texture as well as clear pores. Upon application you might experience some stinging action on your skin but it shouldn't be too bad, its important to follow up any exfoliation with a good moisturizer so your skin doesn't get irradiated.

I suggest this toner for those who are looking for an effective toner to exfoliate and even out their skin tone. One very important note in that as stated above 15% is quite an aggressive concentration, if you are new to chemical exfoliation is it so important that you start slow and build up to such high concentrations, Sanitas Glycotoner starts off with 5% and if you are a begginner you should start with that concentration. It is a mistake to think you can go in with 15% right from the gate and get amazing results, what that will results in is horribly irritated skin and possibly permanent damage.

Bottom Line

I love the brand and I love these products and I highly recommend them all. Sanitas Skincare offers a huge range of skincare for all skin types and concerns. Learn more about there products from Sanitas-Skincare.com and Purchase from Dermstore.com
