Stemology Skincare Review
Stemology Cell Renew Hydro-Plus Overnight Moisturizer W/ StemCore-3
Recently I was sent this overnight moisturizer by a brand called Stemology. If you read my skincare section regularly you’ll know I’m a moisture addict, and while I hadn’t heard of the brand before trying them out after reading the pitch of what this moisturizer claims to do I was open to trying it out. It promises to plump and volumize skin, with visual results both overnight and over time. It also claims to have time-release hyaluronic acid, which should keep your skin hydrated for longer. The second part is what I really wanted to try out, anything that promisies intense, long lasting hydration is a must try in my book.
For around a month I have been using the Cell Renew Hydro-Plus Overnight Moisturizer on a semi regular basis. I would describe it as a Serum/Moisture Jelly, it dispenses as an opaque cream colored gel and applies like a thicker serum. It does contain hyaluronic acid and like other products that utilize that ingredient after application the skin can feel a bit tacky to the touch, if the left over tackiness you really bother simply mist your face with a facial spray. Also a little goes a long way, it comes out of a pumping mechanism and a single pump has been more than enough for my face and neck
From my experience the Cell Renew Hydro-Plus Overnight Moisturizer is a moisturizing powerhouse. My neck is super dry and dehydrated, even though I always travel my moisturizer it still would always be the first area to dry out and it got to the point that it was so dry the area became sensitive. After using this overnight treatment moisturizer my skin has been consistently more hydrated and smooth to the touch. I tried using it night after night but I think that was a bit too much and maybe not letting my skin breath enough, it resulted in no breakouts but I much preferred my results using this moisturizer every other night or every third night.
If you suffer from cronic dehydrated skin like myself or are interested in intense anti-aging skincare I recommend looking through the Stemology catalogue.
