I love the whole Urban Decay Heavy Metals holiday collection and the palette is definitely a big reason why. I received the whole collection a while ago right before is launched from Urban Decay. This palette has 20 new limited-edition colors in a totally new formula from Urban Decay. They are so smooth and beautifully pigmented I have loved playing with these colors. I hope Urban Decay brings out some permeant shades in this formula.
The neutral side is actually my favorite from the palette overall, rich warm hues and dimensional texture. Scream, Maiden and Angelfire are my favorite of the neutral hues, they all have that beautiful glittered texture that really dances as you move. Glamrock, Punk Rock and Ground are my favorite shades from the Colorful side, Glamrock is my favorite metallic silver kind of shade it’s so shiny and reflective. Ground is a deep charcoal black with micro glitters that sparkle.
I really enjoy this formula, I don’t have any shadows currently that rival these, if you enjoy sparkle don’t pass on this palette as it is limited edition. The packaging is interesting, the whole palette slides out horizontally from a cover… its unique, I’m not quite sure I love it but It doesn’t bother me either It’s not too bulky or oddly shaped so it’s not a pain to store it. 10/10 would recommend this palette if you were on the fence.
Here is a makeup tutorial I filmed using the Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic eyeshadow palette, more sparkle and glitter. These kind of looks just feel right to me when we are in the holiday season. I hope you enjoy this look, if you do be sure to subscribe to my channel for more upcoming videos.
