Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil Review

I have been meaning to write this review for ages. It has been a few months since I started using the Dermalogica Phyto Replenish oil and I have been eager to make my opinion on it official by talking about on the internet. I received this oil from Dermalogica in a PR packacge in April and have been using it pretty steadily in my skincare routine since. Weirdly the campaign they were promoting was suggesting to add a drop or two of this oil into their hydrablur primer. I think it was after that whole inst-fad of people putting oil in and on every step of their makeup routine… because that was necessary. Anyway as soon as I got this oil I knew it would be a total waste to use it for something like a ludicrous makeup trend. A $75 facial oil used as a primer mix in? Not on my watch.

The Benefits as told by Dermalogica

·             Transforms dry, lackluster skin into healthy, luminous skin

·             Rapidly absorbs to reinforce the skin's protective barrier

·             Doesn't leave behind any oily residue

·             Ideal for daily use on normal to dry skin

I love this oil, I use it in the mornings, evenings, under makeup and basically just all the time. It’s super lightweight and non greasy just as advertised. The Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil is super lightweight and hydrating and it truly feeds the skin. I have normal to dry skin with a shiny nose area, and oil has had and will continue to have a permanent place in my skincare routines. I love using this oil when my skin if feeling parched as well as after exfoliating. If you for any reason haven’t welcomed oil into your skincare routine you need to, the key to great skin is hydration both internally and externally. Phyto Replenish contains some of my old favorites like shea oil, tamanu oil and it also introduced me to new ones like rice oil, camellia oil and many more from plants I’ve never heard of.

100% a product worth checking out if you want a high quality, deeply penetrating facial oil.
