Hylamide Review Low-Molecular HA + HA Blur
Today I have two new products to share from the brand Hylamide one of the many brands produce from the beauty haus Deciem, when I ran out of my hydraluron, their Low-Molecular HA Booster from their Hylamide line was recommended to me from a reader (Thank You!). Along with the Booster I also picked up their HA Blur Finisher. Continue reading to find out how I liked these two.

Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster
From the website it is described as being “Hyper-strength rehydration serum with 5 forms of hyaluronic compounds with varying molecular weights to target visible skin rehydration at multiple levels.”
My skin is prone to dehydration and using hyaluronic serums under my moisturizer has really been a game changer in my skincare regimen. They add their own hydration as well as increasing the hydration from your moisturizer. So far I have really enjoyed this serum; I use the Low-Molecular HA Booster both in the mornings and evenings after cleansing but before applying my moisturizer. It has a sort of liquid-gel texture and I found it most easily spread when I first mist my face with a facial mist or leave my skin damp after cleansing. I'm not really sure how much of this stuff is recommended to apply but I tend to go for about four drops or so. I think people with all skin types can benefit from non pore clogging hydration and this is it, serums can add so much to your skin and this one is universally beneficial.
Hylamide Finisher HA Blur
According to the Hylamide website the HA Blur Finisher is “Skin. In Softer Focus. It is promises to blur the skin, minimize pores, hydrate and plump. I use the HA Blur Finisher as a makeup primer before I apply my foundation and I think it does exactly as it says, immediately after applying it my skin appears smooth and poreless. Now this isn’t mentioned as being a potential benefit from this product but a few times while wearing this under my foundation I didn’t use powder and I hardly got shiny at all. I have normal to dry skin but still, usually a few hours after applying my makeup I see shine start to break through in my t zone, but while wearing this it was hardly anything there. I do have a theory on why I think this happened and why I attribute it to this product. One thing that is important to know is that if you hydrate your skin and keep it moisturized consistently your skin will produce less sebum, overall leaving your skin being less ‘greasy’ or oily. And since I try to take care to make sure my skin is prepped well before applying makeup by using a hydrating serum and going over top of that with hydrating moisturizer it does pretty well for my skin, but I believe with using this as the very last step after my skincare somehow it puts this final seal over everything and I feel like it makes all that moisture really last throughout the day. I dunno, I hope you can understand my ramblings. The bottom line being this is an awesome primer and suitable for all skin types, it smoothes and hydrates and its basically magically formulated.
