Light Years of Negative Space

To infinity and beyond with a conservative two-toned color palette. NOVA combines creative color placement, color contrast, metallic texture and negative space. When combining multiple design elements the use of a limited color palette gives the look a refined and dramatic finish. Layering vibrant eyeshadows over mild or neutral satin shadows is a simple but very effective way to create unique custom colors.

Unfortunately, I created this look a few weeks ago so I don't recall my process verbatim, but for intensity of shadows I often use a combination of creme eyeshadow bases as well as wet eyeshadow brushes to really have a standout color payoff.

#CreaseOnFire Day 2

Dramatic Green Cut Crease Makeup

Unfortunately the #CreaseOnFire round one didn't go as planned, in fact I basically consider it a failure. Definitely the lowest participation in all of the challenges I've hosted so far ironically with the biggest prize I've offered so far. I only blame myself though, very poor planning on my part to start my challenge the first week of classes! So I wasn't able to promote and post as much as I envisioned. Anyhow this is my second look and most likely final for the challenge a rather simple green cut crease with a winged out lower lash line.

#BrightBoldSummer Day 1

Today is the official start of my #BrightBoldSummer makeup challenge 2015! The theme for day 1 is Neon and the rule is to include at least two neon colors into your makeup look.  I really didn't have much in mind when I started creating this look but I just kept layering and layering and eventual made it to this. Which in retrospect it looks like I combined three looks I did in the past into one mega... well color vomit, it is electric, neon color vomit.

None of these colors are direct pan to eye, they are the result of multiple layers of different products.
